Brandon clinton
Brandon Clinton is an active conductor, composer, educator, and performer. His music has been featured by several organizations, including the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and Brass Ensemble, the University of Central Florida Wind Ensemble, a Common Fund production for the SPHINX organization, the Schagerl Brass Festival in Melk, Austria, and many collaborations in the Orlando and Austin areas. As a conductor, he has worked with a variety of groups including the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, Florida Young Artists Orchestra, UT Austin New Music Ensemble, A Gift for Music Orchestras, The South Austin Music Academy, and The Lone Star Brass Orchestra.
Brandon worked in Orlando, Florida as a part of the A Gift for Music program teaching beginning violin to inner-city elementary school children for three years. He was also the conductor of the A Gift for Music Core Orchestra and assistant conductor of the A Gift for Music Chamber Orchestra. Moving to Austin, Brandon has continued his passion to teach youth and is currently the Assistant Director of Orchestras and Guitar at Murchison Middle School. He is also a conductor for the Engineering Chamber Orchestra (EChO) at The University of a Texas at Austin, which provides non-music majors a way to continue to perform during their college careers. Brandon received his Bachelor's and Master's in Musical Arts from The University of Central Florida and his Master's of Music from The University of Texas at Austin. He is an avid Star Trek fan, loves to cook, and spend time with his wife and son. |
